![]() ![]() We all understand that Elefant tanks aren’t that effective in WW2 bcs of the transmission reliability issue while it’s just a monster in COH2. Track/wheels damage, Transmission failure bcs of terrain, Engine jammed, Stuck turrets etc. Tank/Vehicle with more detailed damage system. The icons are just bad and too many pictures that you can’t just understand the function in the first time naturally. Being heavily relying on hotkeys are just unnecessary steep learning curve. Maybe it’s better to just send some to medic tent as reserve, and add those as new model later on. I get the medic role but sometimes it just okay to lose one model then recruit new one at the base. But US faction get armor and bombardment on their side which can do with some balancing. If it does took pacific theatre, japanese guerilla tactics do get more buffed mental and efficiency under fire than US factions. Really the only semi effective method of killing tanks they had was suicide attacks. And even then it was still mediocre at best. The other problem the Japanese have is that they fight so little armor tgat they never developed proper anti tank weaponry until very late in the war, when the threat of possible invasion from the Americans and Russians was realized. The few decent designs they had were never fielded and reserved in the home islands. They were barely able to fight the BT tanks that China had in limited numbers. Japan's tanks on the other hand were mostly 1930's designs with almost no ability to challenge any modern armor like Shermans or T34s. The Crusader just became obsolete and the Churchill came into its own in Italy and Normandy where it proved to be a great infantry support tank in the hedgerows and tight towns of northern France. The Churchill and Crusader were both great tanks for the roles they were designed for.
